We're pleased to announce our first regular event of 2012, taking place on Wednesday 18th January, at our regular venue in the Freemasons' Hall (close to Holborn, Covent Garden, Tottenham Court Road and Temple stations).

We'll have some great speakers lined up - so far there's Bernie Hogan, a research fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute who'll be talking about social networking visualisations, and Nick Jones, director of interactive services at the government's Central Office of Information, will discuss social media and government digital communications, covering what works and where they want to go. A usual must-see for developers, Iskandar Najmuddin from Syncapse will get us up to date with the latest Facebook platform updates.

As always, freelance developer Dave Nattriss will cover the hottest apps and pages on Facebook, and starting everything off, our host for the evening Todd Chaffee will give us a quick update on general Facebook news. More speakers and talks will be announced as soon as possible.

Our events often sell out within days, so be quick to buy your ticket(s). We'll have beer, wine, juice and pizza, possibly some Facebook swag, and will go for after-drinks at O'Neills across the road for those that want to wind down afterwards.
